To that end, this website monitors all search enquiries for funeral-related questions asked on the internet through search engines. The more questions that are asked about a particular subject, the greater is the chance that we will adapt the site so as to answer those questions.
A prime example of our willingness to evolve is the development of this site from Funeral Assist to Low Price Funerals in July 2002 to Funeral Search in January 2003. This is not to suggest that a "low price" is no longer important; it is simply a recognition of the fact that other aspects are equally important — value-for-money generally, environmentally-friendly funerals, and green coffins that are biodegradable or give off fewer harmful emissions when cremated.
Our philosophy of continuous improvement and a willingness to learn and adapt goes beyond the virtual world of the internet to the introduction of practical products that matter to the bereaved, such as the Coffin CoverTM. Joseph A Hey & Son Ltd. are Funeral Directors and Monumental Masons established in Bradford in 1908.
Today the company is still an independent family owned and managed business. Jo E Hey Morphet Dip FD, is the fourth generation of the company and is the Company Secretary and Director.
The company’s business interests now extends to Monumental Masonry with two separate companies importing memorials directly from the country of origin.
In 1990 Robert Morphet was appointed Managing Director of Joseph A. Hey & Son Ltd. He has worked in the funeral profession since leaving school in 1980. He holds a Diploma in Funeral Directing, a Diploma in Management Studies and is a member of the British Institute of Embalmers. In 1997 he was awarded a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA)
